OPERATING PRINCIPLES:

DOVE Dewatering Screens are highly efficient equipment designed as linear Vibrating Screen that widely applied in various industries for applications of Dewatering, Desliming, Washing, Degritting, and Screening.

DOVE Dewatering Screens are efficient replacement of Rake classifier, and Rotary sand Screw classifier for dewatering applications.

To dewater the material, the slurry is fed uniformly to one end of the steep, downward inclined screen, by vibrating feeder, or directly from sand washer, or other equipment like concentrators. The solid material is retained on the screen, while the slurry water drains from the screen bed and flows through the screen aperture. The screen deck configured with slop upward at 5 degree and is fitted with slotted aperture.

The vibration movement of the dewatering Screen is caused by two counter rotating vibratory motors, designed to create a linear motion at an angle to the screen surface that accelerates the solid particles upward and forward at five (G) force. This vibration force induces the bed of solids to move along the screen that is a complex function of the mechanical action and of the properties of the bed itself. The water gets detached from the solid particles by the abrupt reversal of vibrating motion. The solids move up the screen bed by the linear motion and the water droplets through the screen aperture.

The solids particles on the screen bed move forward towards the outlet end of the screen and eventually conveyed to stockpile. The water is pumped to the retention recycling dam.
